A Perfect Match

I love when couples create a cohesive look throughout their wedding & decor. It shows your guests that you've put time & thought into every little detail.

{...and of course, stationery is an affordable & fun way to do just that!}

For a limited time, when brides purchase their wedding invitations through us, they will then receive 10% off on any additional wedding stationery pieces. This includes {but is not limited to} programs, menus, place cards, table numbers, and favor tags.

Today's big order is for a local couple who recently took advantage of this great deal - you may recall seeing their matching invitations posted on our Facebook page. Check it out!

The solid background and scroll border create the look of a layered piece.
{Without the hefty cost!}

Programs are double sided,
with ceremony details on the front & the wedding party on the back.

Menu cards are a great way to inform your guests what their options are for dinner.

Just had to include a shot of the Dessert listing - I love anything sweet!
{Does this wedding cake not sound insanely delicious?!
}

More fun designs are in the works this week - including a modern wedding invitation set, more program designs, and custom stationery pieces for a display at this week's Indy Soiree. Be sure to watch our Facebook page for photos!

Vintage keys for a new home

On occasion, I receive requests to create custom stationery outside the wedding realm. I recently received a request from Molly, a previous bridal customer, who has recently purchased a new home with her {now} husband.

She spotted a current design in our Etsy shop that she adored, so we took that and converted it to moving announcement. The main alteration we made was adding a set of vintage keys - which I LOVE! I was so excited for the opportunity to incorporate these lovely graphics into a new stationery piece. {I don't know what it is about them, but I think they are so stylish & sophisticated!}

Here are a few glances at the final custom design...

{Personal information altered to preserve customer's privacy.}

Each card measures 4.25" x 5.5" and is printed on our lux white linen cardstock. We've also added Navy pearlescent envelopes, adding to the luxurious look of each announcement card.

Congratulations, Molly & Bret! It's always a pleasure working with you, and we hope you enjoy your new home. =)

Proper Protocol: Where should you list your registries?

image source (Getty Images)

As things pick up around here in the wedding invitation department, we stumble upon many questions surrounding invitation etiquette. Today we address one of the most popular...

Interprintations,

We are so unsure of how to let guests know where we're registered for gifts. Can we include a registry info card with our invitations? We just want to make sure we receive items that we don't already have & that match our home decor. Any help you can offer is appreciated!

Sincerely,

M.H.

This is always a popular question - one with a very straight-forward answer.

Unfortunately, your wedding invitation {or anything included with it} should not mention anything that relates to gifts. Most of your guests will see it as inappropriate, seeming as if gifts are more important than their attendance.

Don't be discouraged, however! There are other places where it's completely acceptable to mention your gift registries - the shower invitations & wedding website, for example. =)

Be sure you give your shower hostess all of your registry locations, so they can have that printed on the shower invitations. Another alternative - most stores will provide you with small registry info cards (i.e. Target and Bed Bath & Beyond) once you complete your registries. These are perfect enclosures to toss in with the shower invites!

Another great way to relay your registry information is by listing it on your wedding website. It is always acceptable to include your website with your wedding invitations, so consider creating an enclosure card {matching your invitation} that reads something like...

For additional wedding details, please visit our wedding website:
www.yourweddingwebsite.com

{Just be sure not to include the words "gift" or "registry" anywhere on the enclosure card or invitation.}

Guests will also know to ask your family & friends where you're registered, if they haven't heard elsewhere. So rest assured that your registry information will make it's way to your guests.

We hope this helps clear the air on wedding registries & how to relay the information to your guests. Guests should always feel like their presence at your special day is the most important - not the gift. =)

Take a seat...

If you've been keeping an eye on our Etsy shop this week, you've probably seen these beauties pop up among our listings....

...our new line of place cards! {Aren't they lovely?}

Place cards have been in such popular demand this season, that we've decided to bring them back to our Etsy shop. Whether your event's style is traditional, modern, or casual, we have a design to fit everyone's style.

Place cards are a great way to ensure your guests don't have to fuss over where to sit during your reception. Using place cards help you control who sits where, guaranteeing that everyone will be seated with other guests they know or will get along with well. {I know when I attend any reception or party, it's a courtesy that I always appreciate!}

Each card measures 3.5" x 2.5" folded, and are customizable in your color & font preferences. Cards may also be used as escort cards, with printed table numbers inside the folded card.

For pricing information, please visit our Etsy shop
or email us at interprintations@gmail.com for a custom quote.
