Stepping Out

I apologize for the lengthy hiatus we've recently taken from blogging - but I promise it's for a good reason!

As we try to increase our exposure on a local level, we ventured out to participate in our first bridal show today. Needless to say it took a lot of preparation {hence the hiatus}, but it was well worth it. We had such a blast and appreciate the chance to participate in the first annual Going to the Chapel Southside Bridal Show!

Fore snapshots of our big day, be sure to check out our Facebook page!

I would like to mention that I could not have done the event without the support of my wonderful sisters & mother, who graciously volunteered their Sunday to help me manage the booth. {Aren't they lovely?}

Signs of the Season

Here in Indiana, the temperature is gradually beginning to drop – a tell-tale sign of the imminent fall season, which brings a smile to my face. =) The season of football, tailgating, colored leaves, and pumpkin-scented candles. What’s not to love?

Last night, I attended a reception for Perfect Wedding Guide’s Fall Issue – another tell-tale sign that the season is about to turn. {Be sure to pick up a copy for more info about local bridal shows, area vendors & fabulous wedding tips!}

While I was at the event, I had the opportunity to try out the photobooth from Clikz Photobooth here in Indy. {Can you imagine having one of these during your cocktail hour & reception? Total blast!} Not only does Clikz give each guest a printout of their 1-minute photo session, they also upload all of the photos for you to see after the event. Check out the photoshoot we shared with Lori from Boldly Chic Events

It doesn’t get any more fabulous than that, folks. =) Enjoy your last few days of summer, because fall is just around the bend!

A Creative Escape

Does anyone else out there love to visit those adorable ceramic studios & paint pottery? Maybe it’s just the artist in me, but I find it therapeutic and extremely relaxing. =)

I recently stumbled upon a little place called Color Me Mine - and am aching to try it out. {Maybe I can convince the girls to have our next Ladies Night there?}

If you’re a bride-to-be, be sure to check out the For Brides section on their website. They have such unique and personal gift ideas for the bridal party, as well as keepsakes for yourself! Have guests sign a large platter at your engagement party, bridal shower, or even as a substitute for the guest book or ever-popular framed photo. After all is said and done, Color me Mine will glaze it and return it for you to use (or display as a keepsake)!
