YFA Show Recap

We had such a great weekend preparing for and participating in the Your Formal Affair bridal show!

We just love being part of the YFA group, and couldn't have asked for a more intimate show setting than La Dolce Salon & Spa in Carmel. They even had great stylists & makeup artists on-hand for free trials!

And while we're sharing photos of the event, here are a few shots of our small setup...

We also had the pleasure of setting up next to Lori from Boldly Chic Events, who also showcased some of our stationery pieces. Don't you just love her gorgeous tablescape?

We also owe a big "thank you" to DJ Orion for the great music and MC services throughout the event! He's now booking for weddings, so be sure to check them out!

I could not be more excited about the "coming soon"s for Interprintations! We have a new product line {details & photos coming next week}, a unique bridal show this weekend, a baby shower just around the corner, and SO many brides & grooms with custom designs in the works. We are LOVING 2011!

This week has been insanely busy as we put the finishing touches on our display for this weekend's Your Formal Affair Bridal Show - which is guaranteed to be a must-see for all brides-to-be in the Indy area! Bridal Show {Your Formal Affair}

If you're one of our local brides, you've probably received a save-the-date card at your consultation or in the mail for this upcoming event...

...and if you haven't received one yet, consider this your invitation! You'll want to mark your calendars for this one, because you definitely don't want to miss it! =)

This show is promised to be quite different than your "typical" bridal expo. It's being held at Your Formal Affair in Carmel, adjacent to La Dolce Salon, allowing for a more intimate & casual setting. Not only that, but the exhibiting vendors have been hand-picked and are among Indy's premier wedding professionals.

* Plus, the first 100 brides receive a free tote bag to fill up with vendor discounts & other goodies! *

We hope you stop by for some passed hor d'oeuvres, wine samples, amazing door prizes, great music, high-end fashion, and much more! {Valet parking will also be available.}

A Colorful Week

All I can say is.....TGIF! It has been one CRAZY week!

I started off the week by meeting with the amazing vendors of Your Formal Affair in Carmel, which I've recently joined. It's a collaboration of Indy's premier wedding professionals, all showcased at 1117 S. Rangeline Road.

During our meeting, we worked on finalizing the details for our upcoming bridal show on Sunday February 27th - be sure to put it on your calendar! Lots of great vendors, delicious food, tasty wine samples, and tons of great deals & door prizes for wedding services. {Plus, all proceeds are going to the American Heart Association!}

Then, mid-week, this happened....



Which delayed some of our order shipments - needless to say, I was NOT happy to wake up to this! I have way too much to get done to be snowed in. But I have since shoveled the driveway & am happy to report that I made it out alive. =)

The last two days have been filled with Etsy orders, custom designs, rehearsal dinner & wedding invitations. Here's a sneak peek at today's big order - a lovely color combo, I must say! I love that brides are ordering more and more of these clutch pocket invites...

Clutch Pocket Invitation: a modern version of the traditional "pocketfold" - a flat-panel pocket (no "fold"), with the invitation mounted on one side, and the inserts tucked in on the opposite side.

Ahhhh.......and now time to relax. =) I don't know about you, but I'll be relaxing this evening, staying out of the -3 degree temps, watching some TV & eating some fabulous Chinese takeout. {Is it dinner time yet??}

The {busy} life of a stationer

This weekend was jam-packed with a baby shower, lunch with the in-laws, dinner & drinks in downtown Indy, a dash of shopping and a wonderful Sunday afternoon & evening of football {GO COLTS!}. I love when my schedule is filled up - it makes me feel like I've spent my weekend as best I could. =)

{Plus, the brisk fall weather is like icing on the cake!}

Now that the weekend is winding down, I'm getting super excited about my week ahead - an event at the new downtown venue D'Amore, as well as the open house at Your Formal Affair. If you are looking for something to fill your weeknights, these are 2 events you should definitely check out!
